What is Bitcoin City USA?
Bitcoin City USA is a first-of-its-kind community-driven project. Its size and scale will be dictated by the community we attract and the number of lifetime memberships we sell, with each block sold corresponding to an actual mined Bitcoin block. We are seeking to build a physical representation of the Bitcoin blockchain: a landmark monument that will endure for centuries, much like Bitcoin itself.
At its grandest scale, Bitcoin City USA will be an actual city in the United States. A cultural hub and destination dedicated to Bitcoin and everything for which it stands.
How are you going to do that?
Great question! We are going to sell Bitcoin block numbers from the official Bitcoin City USA Registry as memberships. When you claim a block you have a lifetime membership to Bitcoin City. Funds raised are intended to be used towards realizing the dream of a Bitcoin City in the United States of America.
What are the benefits of being a member of Bitcoin City?
Bitcoin City USA has an ambitious goal. As we scale and grow, lifetime membership benefits will range from having input into Bitcoin City - such as the location and scale of the final landmark monument dedicated to Bitcoin, to receiving various perks such as giveaways and access to exclusive events and discounts from other Bitcoin-focused companies. When you buy a block you can also include a custom message in the official Bitcoin City USA Registry (within reason and limits as decided by Bitcoin City USA in its sole discretion).
But the main benefit is being part of the community helping to guide Bitcoin City and realize the dream of creating a landmark Bitcoin monument and potential physical Bitcoin City located in the United States.
Are you actually going to build a new city from scratch?
Building a new city and infrastructure from scratch is unlikely. However, depending on the size of the community we intend to build a physical representation of the Bitcoin blockchain. This could range from a Bitcoin sculpture to a full-blown Bitcoin landmark monument located in the United States.
Realizing the largest vision, we will seek to negotiate with an actual municipality or city in the United States that embraces Bitcoin to rename itself Bitcoin City, with the intent to establish it as a travel destination for bitcoiners from all over the United States and the world.
Are you going to build a monument to Bitcoin?
That's the goal. One idea is for each Bitcoin block mined to be a physical brick used to build the monument. After the monument is built and caught up to the then-current block height, a new brick would be added every 10 minutes as new blocks are mined.
Why would I want to buy a block from Bitcoin City?
Every block was mined at a specific moment in time. By claiming a block and purchasing a lifetime membership to Bitcoin City USA, you are supporting the vision of creating a physical Bitcoin structure and city in the United States.
Once you claim a block, it is yours forever. Look for available blocks that have meaning to you and add a custom message to the official Bitcoin City USA Registry for the world to see. One day that message may be inscribed on the Bitcoin City USA Monument.
Why are you doing this?
We as a society need to aim higher with our goals. If Elon Musk can launch massive rockets and land people on Mars, surely we as bitcoiners can come together for the common Bitcoin good and build something great. You can just do things. You can just do hard things. And with an ever increasing digital world and bitcoin being a digital asset, we want to build something physical in the name of bitcoin that millions and millions of people can see, touch and smell.
So this is just another grift?
No. This is a pure Bitcoin project. It is run by bitcoin maximalists who understand the value and scarcity of bitcoin. We will hold all bitcoin received in the official Bitcoin City USA Treasury for the benefit of building and growing Bitcoin City and use it as we see fit in support of that goal. We will not issue a token, you will not be minting NFTs, we will not be selling bitcoin ordinals. We will not be asking anyone for permission.
Is this just another bitcoin treasury company?
No. In fact, the proliferation of bitcoin treasury companies and mass institutional involvement is concerning. While buying and holding bitcoin for the sake of price appreciation is a valid Strategy (h/t Saylor), we aim to be a company that actually does something with bitcoin. We want to build in public. We want to support small business. We want to incentivize the use of bitcoin. We want to carryforward Satoshi's vision of a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.
Will I own equity in Bitcoin City USA?
No. Bitcoin City USA LLC is a private Wyoming limited liability company. Buying a block does not entitle you to any ownership or equity rights in Bitcoin City USA. By buying a block you are becoming a lifetime member of the community with the benefits set forth herein and otherwise announced from time-to-time.
Can I buy a block that has not been mined yet?
No. Only block numbers that have been mined are available to the extent not claimed or reserved as indicated in the official Bitcoin City USA Registry.
How long will it take to build Bitcoin City?
We recognize the finite nature of bitcoin and time itself, at least in the context of the human life span. We do not want this to be an open ended project that never ends and merely solicits bitcoin from the community.To that end, after we establish a base membership community, we will start the clock on 210,000 Bitcoin blocks (equal to one halving cycle) to see how far this community can grow and how large we can build Bitcoin City USA.
Can I have a refund?
No. All sales and bitcoin transactions are final. If you claim a block that is not available your only remedy is to choose a block that is available by contacting Bitcoin City Hall.

Every block claimed and lifetime membership determines your place in Bitcoin City forever. Once a lifetime membership rank closes, it's gone. No second chances.
